POSITION: Clinician/Mental Health Associate

WORKSITE: Kentucky River Community Care/Breathitt County Health & Wellness Center

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Regular Full-Time

CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: Clinician – Master’s Degree in approved Human Services field with LPCA, LPCC, LCSW, or a Bachelor’s Degree in an approved Human Services field, enrolled in a Master’s program.  Mental Health Associate – BA/BS in Psychology, Sociology, or approved Human Services field

SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to utilize an electronic medical record, effective interpersonal skills, knowledge of diagnostic assessments and therapeutic best practices.

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide assessments, treatment planning, and therapy to adults with mental illness.
• Maintain licensure status with licensing board.
• Works as part of a treatment team including APRNs and case managers.
• Enter clinical documentation in an electronic health record.
