Position: Community Support Associate

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Perry County Health & Wellness Center and Southern KRCC Counites

Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Credentials: High school diploma or GED and one year of relevant mental health experience.  Must have valid driver’s license with 2 years driving experience.

Special skills: Good interpersonal skills, Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team, ability to work independently, good organizational/time management skills, computer literacy skills.

Primary functions:

• Teaching clients the following skills: how to utilize/access community resources, medication adherence, interpersonal skills, behavioral support skills, crisis coping skills, emotional regulation skills, how to access transportation, how to budget/manage finances, and how to shop independently in the community.
• Complete documentation in EMR within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Conduct activities necessary to allow individuals to live with maximum independence in the community.
• Enhance community living through utilizing skills training, cueing, or supervision as identified in recipients’ treatment plan.
• Maintain all trainings and required supervisions.
